Riley Magras is a painter based in Melbourne, Australia who makes paintings of the beauty of the natural world, capturing fleeting moments of time.
Their work tells stories of the bright and wondrous things that we notice and want to hold onto. Riley’s paintings allow those fragments of curiosity and beauty to stay close to the heart in effort to overcome life’s uncertainty and impermanence.
Born in Minnesota, USA, moving to Australia in 2020, Riley lives by the sentiment of embracing audacity and living for the experience. Riley has exhibited their work internationally and is currently teaching art classes and workshops, creating vibrant commissioned works, and showing artworks at markets and exhibitions.
